The Company
Our client is a US-headquartered global transportation and logistics company. It is an innovative, international, and fast-growing business, recently recognised as one of US best mid-size employers with more than 100 offices worldwide. The company is focussed on strengthening its HR operations and structure and is looking for a European Payroll and Operations Lead to drive change in operations, systems and payroll in the region.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior HR Director in Europe, this position will be managing a team across different countries. The primary objective of the role is to drive the transformation of HR Systems and of Payroll towards a unified, compliant, and modern framework. As the leader, this role will be tasked with driving the team to cover details including time processing, payroll operations, compliance, and will serve as the main liaison for the International Payroll Providers.
The Individual
This individual will possess a proven track record of effectively building and managing HR operations, with hands-on experience with HRIS implementation and Payroll systems. Experience in HR process modernisation, such as digitising procedures, is highly advantageous. Knowledge of European payroll regulations and compliance standards coupled with project management skills is essential. A change management mindset, hands-on capabilities in conjunction with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling is crucial.
