​The Chapman Consulting Group co-hosted an energised Talent Acquisition Leaders Gathering with Microsoft in Singapore yesterday. We were joined by a fantastic group of regional leaders to discuss the talent acquisition challenges faced today across a wide range of industries. Representatives from a variety of organisations were present including Hilton, Barclays, Google, HP, Cisco, McGraw-Hill, Philips, SAP, ANZ, LinkedIn, Johnson Controls, Applied Materials, American Express and GroupM. The Chapman Consulting Group (ChapmanCG) continued its APAC HR leader’s series with a gathering of 25 HR Heads in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, co-hosted by Microsoft. Graham Tollit, a Director with ChapmanCG chaired the session and Ben Davies, a Managing Director with ChapmanCG also attended. The group were treated to three thought provoking mini case studies from attendees and our host. The November 2012 Japan HR Leaders Series of meetings consisted of five separate get-togethers. Two separate groups of Japan Human Resources Heads met at the offices of Cargill and Alcatel-­Lucent to discuss current talent trends; Japan HR and Staffing Leaders met at PAREXEL to discuss direct sourcing strategies; Japan HR and Talent Leaders met at Bloomberg to discuss leadership in Japan; and Japan HR and C&B Heads met at Microsoft to discuss how to maximise employees’ potential in Japan. The Chapman Consulting Group co-hosted a lively roundtable discussion with Microsoft for 20 select Talent Acquisition heads. Regional staffing leaders from high-profile multinationals in the Financial Services, Technology, Hospitality, Retail and Industrial sectors met at the Singapore offices of Microsoft to discuss Harnessing IT and Social Media to Improve the Quality of Talent Acquisition Practices.
