The Role

As the point of contact and lead for Global Learning and Development, this role oversees the development, execution, and maintenance of the Learning & Development strategy and framework. Responsibilities include conducting learning needs analysis, creating the global L&D framework, establishing a competency framework, supporting skill assessment, developing a training catalogue, facilitating training delivery, managing vendors and the LMS, and overseeing the budget for future programs.  

The Individual

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record as an L&D specialist in either an in-house MNC capacity or consulting firm, with at least five years of experience. They should also have experience in working with Japanese companies or clients, international employee groups, and project management in the L&D space, as well as familiarity with HRIS tools. Additionally, they should be strategic thinkers, adaptable to changing environments, possess strong time management and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in the MS Office suite.
