He is a trained Barrister-at-Law with 16 years’ executive search and recruitment experience spanning North America, Latin America, Asia, and the United Kingdom. Today, Alan is responsible for executive search for ChapmanCG’s top clients across The Americas region. Within the U.S., Alan has led successful searches for global, regional and country level HR generalist and specialist roles nationwide. Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Alan worked in Hong Kong with a highly reputable boutique retained search firm.

Throughout his career, Alan has learned the value of cultivating, maintaining and enhancing relationships with senior business and HR leaders, offering credible and accurate market information to aid key hiring decisions. His successes have fueled a desire to keep learning and to appreciate the unique challenges inherent in each hiring process. He is passionate about bringing greater diversity into organizations and helping the next generation of leaders achieve great things.

A keen sportsman, Alan spends most of his spare time in the boxing ring or gym and enjoys the occasional stroll around a golf course.

Director

Andrea Merrigan is a Director with ChapmanCG based in Singapore. Andrea works closely with the APAC team to deliver regional searches for ChapmanCG’s major clients across a range of industries, and identifies high-calibre senior HR executive talent focusing specifically on Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Andrea was an HR recruitment specialist with Profile Search & Selection in Singapore and a Talent & OD Professional, working both in consulting and in-house.

Andrea is originally from the Republic of Ireland and has spent over seven years living and studying in New York, Hawai’i, China, Japan and Singapore. Outside of work Andrea loves to travel and dance. She is part of a salsa performance team and is passionate about Brazilian Zouk.

Lucy is a Director with ChapmanCG based in London. Her recruitment career spans over 10 years working across Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. She works with the team to identify high-calibre HR talent across Europe, as well as globally.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Lucy held a variety of senior consulting roles at Profile Search & Selection and a boutique Singapore-based search firm, where she was instrumental in growing the firm’s HR network. Lucy has also worked as an in-house search consultant within the travel and leisure industry. Before moving into executive search, Lucy worked at M&C Saatchi for several years in account management.

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Manchester. Outside work, Lucy enjoys traveling and being as active as possible, be it skiing, yoga, tennis or simply running around after her three young children.

Matthew (Matt) Chapman is the Founder of ChapmanCG. Matt oversees ChapmanCG’s future strategy, innovation and image across the globe. He also personally provides HR search and career counsel to HR leaders whose careers have grown alongside ChapmanCG — some of whom are now the biggest HR names in the world.

Matt has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business Law from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is a Singapore Citizen and divides his time between Asia Pacific, the Americas and EMEA.

Matt is a wellness, self-improvement and fitness addict. He has completed six desert, 250km ultra-marathons in Chile, China, Egypt, Antarctica, Namibia and Madagascar.

Managing Director

Neal Walters is a Managing Director with ChapmanCG, based in Japan. He specialises in Japan & Asia Pacific HR search and recruitment, working on mandates for HR Directors, Senior HR Business Partners and head of function positions in Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. He also works with the broader ChapmanCG team on international searches both in Japan and across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Neal worked as Vice President, Japan and Asia Pacific for en world Japan where he was responsible for executive-level searches and new business development for Japan and the Asia Pacific. Neal’s career in recruitment spans more than 12 years and he has a track record of providing excellent service around people and recruitment strategy development.

Originally from Canada, Neal has lived in Japan for more than 19 years. He graduated with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In addition to English, Neal speaks Japanese. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, ice hockey, squash and fitness training.

Nicola Hasling

Director

Nicola Hasling is a Director with ChapmanCG and is based in Houston in the United States. She leads senior searches for ChapmanCG’s major clients across a range of industries and identifies high-caliber CHRO and senior HR executive talent.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Nicola was with Heidrick & Struggles International where she was a core member of the firm’s CHRO, CEO and Board of Directors, Private Equity, and Energy and Natural Resources practices.

She has over 15 years’ experience in executive search, including managing the Houston office of a United Kingdom-based search firm and conducting senior-level assignments across Europe. In her earlier career, Nicola also worked in human resources management roles, corporate sales and for the diplomatic service in London and Prague.

Nicola grew up in the United Kingdom and holds an MBA from Henley Management College, England. Now living in Houston, Texas with her family, she is a keen tennis player and enjoys spending time with her horse, including competing in eventing.

Stefanie Cross-Wilson

President and COO

Stefanie Cross-Wilson is President and COO at ChapmanCG, based in Los Angeles. Along with Ben Davies, Stefanie is responsible for the day-to-day running of ChapmanCG. She also leads complex HR searches globally for ChapmanCG’s top clients.

Before joining ChapmanCG, Stefanie was President, Recruitment & Talent Management for North America at Hudson (NASDAQ: HSON). Prior to that she lived and worked in Asia for over 20 years, most recently as Hudson’s Asia CEO.

Stefanie has worked extensively with leading multinational employers across a broad range of geographies and industries. Working closely with HR and business leadership teams, she advises on the development and implementation of best practice HR and Talent strategies.

Stefanie is originally from Chicago and a graduate of Sydney University in Australia. She is an international speaker and subject matter expert on global Human Resources and Talent Acquisition trends, and working cross-culturally.

Vargin Yeke is a Senior Director with ChapmanCG based in Singapore. Vargin began his executive search career almost a decade ago in the UK, where he successfully led teams focused on various industries, eventually specialising in Human Resources. Originally from Istanbul, he has previously lived and worked in Turkey, the UK, Thailand and Singapore, where he covered the APAC region.

An international-level water polo player and coach, Vargin has represented his club and country in multiple competitions in Europe for over 10 years. He is now a keen triathlete and a qualified triathlon coach with multiple podium finishes across APAC. Vargin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation & Interpretation from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
