Our client is a large, global organisation and one of the most successful firms in its field. Currently undergoing a significant transformation of their entire business model, they are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to join them and support the drive for innovation and change in their industry. This role is based in their Global Head Quarters in Geneva.
In this highly visible and autonomous role you will support and partner the senior business leaders across major Corporate Function business lines to drive the leadership, talent and culture agenda across the global business function (around 2,000 people). There will be a particular focus on the Legal business and close partnership with the General Counsel. Using your commercial expertise, you will partner the senior leadership team to define optimum organisation design to deliver on the strategic ambitions of the business. Talent, Leadership and Succession Planning are integral components of this role and you will use your expertise in these areas to gain a deep understanding of the talent and capability gaps and associated implications. Given the scale of transformation across the wider business, you will design and lead change management initiatives relating to the people and talent agenda. You will build strong relationships and credibility across the business in order to influence, negotiate and challenge where needed, seamlessly driving the strategic direction whilst also having a hands-on approach as appropriate.
Prior experience supporting Legal business functions and leading them through transformation is essential. A highly experienced global/international HR leader with extensive experience in creating, leading and implementing large-scale talent and organisation transformation strategies to deliver the people agenda and business success. You will have a proven track record in a large, complex, multi-national, matrixed environment and have gained experience from working in a quality, forward-thinking HR environment. Ideally, an international citizen with an international outlook who has operated across multiple geographies and cultures. You should be able to convert strategy into actions, and un-pick operational challenges to build and deliver value-add results and solutions. Clear credentials operating and influencing at a group executive and board level. Experience of acting as confidante, coach and guide to Senior Executive leadership teams. You will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment. Commercial acumen and understanding of strategic business issues is a must. A contributor above and beyond the people function.
