Our client is a market leader in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Future focused and underpinned by technology and innovation, it serves a broad range of industries and has over 60,000 employees in more than 60 countries. Formed as a joint venture, the business provides product, system, software and service solutions. These solutions support a range of customers and they are currently the market leaders in their field. The role will ideally be based in Switzerland but there is some flexibility on the location in Europe, with travel.
This role will be a senior HR business partner to one of the key global business units covering 8,000 people and responsible for 2.6bn Swiss Franc (CHF) in revenue. You will support an MD focussed on driving change and restructuring across the globe, building capability and shaping a future fit organisation. The role is a blend of operational and strategic but ultimately this is an executional role, implementing effectively in a highly complex environment. It’s a truly global remit and the team is well spread across six different hubs. The culture is collaborative, and consensus driven. Influencing is key.
We are looking for experience in a large corporate, ideally across multiple regions, and evidence of being able to navigate complexity. It will be advantageous to have worked in an engineering-led environment but more important is cultural awareness and EQ. This should be backed up by a high level of IQ and an analytical approach. The person will need to have international experience and solid tenure in the organisations they have worked in. We are looking for a generalist skillset, but you must demonstrate a business orientation and commercial acumen.
