Georgie Chong

Director

Georgie is a Director with ChapmanCG and is based in Singapore. With more than 15 years of experience in executive recruitment, she works with the team to identify high-calibre HR talent across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Georgie held senior management positions at various international search firms. From 2006 to 2009, she was based in Shanghai where she double-hatted as General Manager and Head of the HR practice group. In her earlier life, Georgie spent time in the financial services sector where she led the Singapore/Asia businesses for well-known international companies. Georgie started her career as a journalist in the energy markets.

A disciplined and focused individual, Georgie is an avid reader and exercises regularly. She counts the analysis of financial statements as a hobby and continues to travel extensively.

Katherine Qu

Senior Director

Katherine is a Senior Director with ChapmanCG, based in Singapore. She works with the global team to identify top HR talent across Asia, North America, and Europe.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Katherine started her own executive search business in Beijing, which focused on senior executive roles for leading Chinese companies in the consumer, healthcare and real estate industries. Subsequently, Katherine held positions with Hudson and Charterhouse Partnership, a boutique executive search firm based in Singapore. Katherine has also had extensive industry experience across different sectors with global leaders such as Pepsi, Pfizer, and Lenovo.

Katherine was born in China and was educated in both China and the United States, achieving her Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. She has worked in China, Singapore and the United States, and speaks both Mandarin and English fluently.

Director

Matthew Boardman is a Director with ChapmanCG based in Singapore. He works with the team to identify high-calibre HR talent across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Matt worked for specialist search firms in Singapore and London where his experience in international HR search spanned the UK, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and China.

Matt is originally from the UK and has been based in Singapore for a number of years. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (Hons), majoring in Geography and Management. On a personal level, Matt enjoys playing cricket and golf in his spare time and can generally be found at the weekends representing Singapore Cricket Club or trying to work on his handicap at the driving range.

Stephanie Nash

Chief People Officer

Stephanie Nash is the Global Chief People Officer at ChapmanCG and is responsible for growing and developing our global organisation, and providing insights on HR trends to our global network.

She also holds the role of Global Head of Chapman Ventures, and provides guidance across Matthew Chapman’s broader portfolio of business interests and innovations in human resources. This includes ChapmanV’s new global HR fund, which will invest in HR-focused start-ups, and the Global HR Exchange, which will be an online community for HR professionals.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Stephanie held the role of Chief People Officer at RedMart, where she oversaw the growth of the Singapore-based technology and ecommerce platform.

Stephanie has more than two decades’ experience as a human resources leader working across the United States, Asia, Australia and South America. During this time, she served in senior HR roles for Fortune 500 companies, including Vice President of Human Resources Asia-Pacific at Allergen, Senior Director Human Resources Asia Pacific at Microsoft, and Group Manager, Human Resources, Base Metals at BHP Billiton. Throughout her career, she has worked across a range of industries, business units, functional areas and geographies in local, multi-country and global capacities.

Stephanie is originally from the United States, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Syracuse University, as well as a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of California, Berkeley.

She also serves as the President of the American Association of Singapore, General Committee Member of the American Club, and Co-Chair of the Human Capital Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.

Steve Brown is Managing Director with ChapmanCG based between Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. He leads the ChapmanCG team across Southeast Asia and Greater China. Steve has 20+ years’ experience in the search industry, gained in the United Kingdom and the Asia Pacific.

Steve has developed a strong track record of successfully delivering multiple high-profile HR searches across Asia, and across various industry sectors. He is passionate about fostering long-term partnerships with HR influencers and top HR talent regionally and globally.

Vargin Yeke

Senior Director

Vargin Yeke is a Senior Director with ChapmanCG based in Singapore. He works closely with the global team to identify first class HR talent in Singapore and across the Asia Pacific region, with a particular focus on HR leadership roles in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia across all sectors.

Vargin began his executive search career almost a decade ago in the UK, where he successfully led teams focused on various industries, eventually specialising in Human Resources. Originally from Istanbul, he has previously lived and worked in Turkey, the UK, Thailand and Singapore, where he covered the APAC region.

An international-level water polo player and coach, Vargin has represented his club and country in multiple competitions in Europe for over 10 years. He is now a keen triathlete and a qualified triathlon coach with multiple podium finishes across APAC. Vargin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation & Interpretation from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
