Sustainability and HR – The STMicroelectronics Story

Managing Director Tim Rayner talks with HR leaders worldwide, examining their organisations’ strategies and plans for sustainability. What makes these conversations particularly relevant is where these values and company initiatives fit into senior HR leaders’ scope of work.

STMicroelectronics embed sustainability into everything they do by making it part of their people culture, promoting a shared sense of purpose. Rajita D’Souza, President, Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility, demonstrates how her team uses their five pillars of sustainability as an effective talent attraction and retention tool and, more importantly, how they measure the success of the company’s sustainability index.

As the President of STMicroelectronics’ Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility, Rajita’s mandate entails the company’s environmental, health, and safety directions. She is also an STMicroelectronics Executive Committee member.
