Sustainability and HR – The Grundfos Story

Managing Director Tim Rayner continues his Conversations with HR Leaders, diving into the complex topic of sustainability.

Mirjam Baijens has more than 20 years of international HR, Talent & Development and Sales leadership experience in global corporations across various sectors, including IT, packaging and industrial manufacturing – and family ownership. As Grundfos’ Executive Vice President and CHRO, part of her remit is leading the sustainability charge across the organisation.

Sustainability at Grundfos is deeply rooted in its overall strategy – it is not seen as a separate strategy, behaviour, or purpose. Their goal, which underpins all they do, is to pioneer solutions to the world’s water and climate challenges and improve the quality of life for people globally. Grundfos see sustainability as the north star to future-proof their business. It is also a business driver creating opportunities and a strong value proposition that all employees relate to and appreciate.
