Data and analytics are being used not only to inform business decisions, but in the hiring process, giving HR more presence at the executive level.
‘Digital’ has also moved from being a specialist HR role to a basic requirement. HR leaders need to transform their digital offerings but take a leading role in the wider digital transformation taking place across the business.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Georgie held senior management positions at various international search firms. From 2006 to 2009, she was based in Shanghai where she double-hatted as General Manager and Head of the HR practice group. In her earlier life, Georgie spent time in the financial services sector where she led the Singapore/Asia businesses for well-known international companies. Georgie started her career as a journalist in the energy markets.
A disciplined and focused individual, Georgie is an avid reader and exercises regularly. She counts the analysis of financial statements as a hobby and continues to travel extensively.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Katherine started her own executive search business in Beijing, which focused on senior executive roles for leading Chinese companies in the consumer, healthcare and real estate industries. Subsequently, Katherine held positions with Hudson and Charterhouse Partnership, a boutique executive search firm based in Singapore. Katherine has also had extensive industry experience across different sectors with global leaders such as Pepsi, Pfizer, and Lenovo.
Katherine was born in China and was educated in both China and the United States, achieving her Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. She has worked in China, Singapore and the United States, and speaks both Mandarin and English fluently.

Neal Walters is a Managing Director with ChapmanCG, based in Japan. He specialises in Japan & Asia Pacific HR search and recruitment, working on mandates for HR Directors, Senior HR Business Partners and head of function positions in Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. He also works with the broader ChapmanCG team on international searches both in Japan and across the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Neal worked as Vice President, Japan and Asia Pacific for en world Japan where he was responsible for executive-level searches and new business development for Japan and the Asia Pacific. Neal’s career in recruitment spans more than 12 years and he has a track record of providing excellent service around people and recruitment strategy development.
Originally from Canada, Neal has lived in Japan for more than 19 years. He graduated with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In addition to English, Neal speaks Japanese. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, ice hockey, squash and fitness training.

Vargin Yeke is a Senior Director with ChapmanCG based in Singapore. He works closely with the global team to identify first class HR talent in Singapore and across the Asia Pacific region, with a particular focus on HR leadership roles in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia across all sectors.
Vargin began his executive search career almost a decade ago in the UK, where he successfully led teams focused on various industries, eventually specialising in Human Resources. Originally from Istanbul, he has previously lived and worked in Turkey, the UK, Thailand and Singapore, where he covered the APAC region.
An international-level water polo player and coach, Vargin has represented his club and country in multiple competitions in Europe for over 10 years. He is now a keen triathlete and a qualified triathlon coach with multiple podium finishes across APAC. Vargin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation & Interpretation from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.
