To continue their quest in remaining “best-in-class”, they are looking for Regional Director of Human Resources to be based in New York. As one of the world’s largest high-end consumer goods companies, the need to have world class talent join the HR fold has never been more important. Senior leadership continues to invest in top talent and is looking for this pivotal hire to join the human resources team and ensure continued success of the company.

The Role

The Regional Director of Human Resources is a key member of the HR team and a fundamental contributor in developing and implementing leading-edge talent processes. Currently reporting to the VP HR, US, this role will assist in enhancing business performance through organization design, alignment, accountability, culture shift and process improvement across their retail operations. It will partner with employees at all levels across the company to better understand needs related to training, career-pathing, organizational development, talent development and succession planning. The Regional Director of Human Resources will be responsible for helping to create a talent-centric culture.  

The Individual

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience within broad-based human resources including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, performance management (PMP) as well as employee benefits. Knowledge of U.S. state employment laws and regulations is a must. You must have solid experience coaching mid and senior-level leaders to improve leadership performance. We’re looking for someone with the ability to translate complex, strategic topics into specific, understandable goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables. You will be adept at managing employees at all levels, including leadership. Exceptional communication skills are necessary coupled with strong business partnering skills to effectively work closely with the senior executive team. Qualified candidates will have experience in the luxury retail, retail or consumer goods industries.
