Fiona Jury

Senior Director, Global Research and Market Intelligence

Fiona Jury is the Senior Director, Global Research and Market Intelligence at ChapmanCG. She is passionate about excellence in search delivery and leads ChapmanCG’s global research and market intelligence team in identifying top-quality HR talent.

Fiona’s executive search and recruitment career spans over 20 years, working across multiple markets including Asia Pacific, the United States, the Middle East and Australia/New Zealand. A search consultant at heart, Fiona understands the unique needs of clients. During her time with ChapmanCG, Fiona has delivered on CHRO, Global HR Director, Regional HR Director, Global Talent Head, Global Head of Reward and many other high impact searches.

Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Fiona held a variety of leadership and senior consulting roles at Talent2 and at Morgan & Banks/TMP. She possesses broad industry experience across pharmaceuticals, FMCG, financial services, media, professional services and IT & Telecommunications.

Fiona originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant and spent her early career with Coopers & Lybrand. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) from Monash University in Melbourne. Outside of work, Fiona enjoys spending time with family and her three children. She enjoys all sports and is fascinated by human ingenuity and positive psychology.

Jen Balfour

Associate Director

Jen is an Associate Director with Chapman CG based in London. She works with the EMEA team to identify high-potential HR talent and lead HR leadership searches across the region with particular experience in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Jen is originally from Auckland, New Zealand. Prior to joining ChapmanCG, Jen held marketing roles for IT businesses. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Tourism from the University of Otago.

In Jen’s spare time she enjoys socialising with friends, playing and watching sport and travelling. She also has a guilty pleasure for pop music.

John MacLean

Senior Director

John is a Senior Director with ChapmanCG’s EMEA team. Based in the United Kingdom, he has over 20 years experience building dedicated HR recruitment practices across the UK, Europe and Australia. His focus is on delivering fast, efficient, and quality-driven services for clients across the region.

John is responsible for delivering top HR talent to CEOs and HR leaders locally, regionally, and globally for a range of clients from multinationals to SMEs. This includes CHRO’s / HR Directors, Senior HR Managers and Heads of HR as well as HR Business Partner positions.

He also manages assignments within specialist areas including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organisational Development & Culture, Total Rewards, Inclusion & Diversity, Employee Relations, and HR & Data Analytics.

Before joining ChapmanCG, John worked for a leading global recruitment firm. Originally from Scotland, John is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

Katherine Qu

Managing Director

Katherine Qu is a Managing Director based in Singapore. Since joining ChapmanCG in 2014, she has worked with the team across APAC and around the world to identify the top HR talent across Greater China, Singapore, SEA and APAC.

Before joining us, Katherine ran her own executive search business in Beijing focusing on senior executive roles for leading Chinese companies in the consumer, healthcare and real estate industries. She has also held positions with Hudson and Charterhouse Partnership leading the Healthcare practice and HR function respectively. Katherine’s corporate experience has spanned many different sectors with global leaders such as PepsiCo, Pfizer and Lenovo.

Born in China and educated in both China and the United States, Katherine achieved her Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. She has worked in China, Singapore and the United States and speaks both Mandarin and English fluently.

Matthew Chapman

Founder

Matthew (Matt) Chapman is the Founder of ChapmanCG. Matt oversees ChapmanCG’s future strategy, innovation and image across the globe. He also personally provides HR search and career counsel to HR leaders whose careers have grown alongside ChapmanCG — some of whom are now the biggest HR names in the world.

Matt has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business Law from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is a Singapore Citizen and divides his time between Asia Pacific, the Americas and EMEA.

Matt is a wellness, self-improvement and fitness addict. He has completed six desert, 250km ultra-marathons in Chile, China, Egypt, Antarctica, Namibia and Madagascar.

Stefanie Cross-Wilson

President and COO

Stefanie Cross-Wilson is President and COO at ChapmanCG, based in Los Angeles. Along with Ben Davies, Stefanie is responsible for the day-to-day running of ChapmanCG. She also leads complex HR searches globally for ChapmanCG’s top clients.

Before joining ChapmanCG, Stefanie was President, Recruitment & Talent Management for North America at Hudson (NASDAQ: HSON). Prior to that she lived and worked in Asia for over 20 years, most recently as Hudson’s Asia CEO.

Stefanie has worked extensively with leading multinational employers across a broad range of geographies and industries. Working closely with HR and business leadership teams, she advises on the development and implementation of best practice HR and Talent strategies.

Stefanie is originally from Chicago and a graduate of Sydney University in Australia. She is an international speaker and subject matter expert on global Human Resources and Talent Acquisition trends, and working cross-culturally.
