Previous meetings held by Gap

The Chapman Consulting Group held a series of Global HR Leaders meetings in the US. The meetings were hosted by Gap in San Francisco and Metlife, Macquarie and American Express in New York. In attendance were a great group of participants, including representatives from Accenture, Bank of America, BlackRock, Citi, Deutsche Bank, GlaxoSmithKline, Levi Strauss, McGraw-Hill, Morgan Stanley, Marsh, Merck, Pfizer, Twitter and Wells Fargo.

The April 23rd morning session at Gap was well attended by HR leaders from companies including Syngenta, Oracle, Dolby Laboratories, Wikimedia, eBay, Google and Cisco. The afternoon session at Levi Strauss & Co brought HR leaders from as far south as San Diego — with companies such as Life Technologies and Qualcomm. Both sessions were opened by Stefanie Cross-Wilson, International President of The Chapman Consulting Group, welcoming HR leaders from San Francisco, the surrounding Bay Area and Southern California. The Chapman Consulting Group held a meeting of China and APAC HR Leaders at Johnson Controls, Gap, and Honeywell in Shanghai. The two day series was attended by a great group of participants, including representatives from BP, Carrefour, Deloitte, General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, Hasbro, IBM, Johnson Controls, Morgan Stanley, SAP, Timberland, Unilever and Yahoo!. The discussion topic focused on HR market updates in the China and APAC region, as well as a discussion on talent acquisition practices within the region.

The Chapman Consulting Group today concluded a week of group meetings with Japan HR Leaders. We convened nine separate groups in this series, with between ten and twenty Japan HR Country Heads in attendance at each one. Thanks go to the Japan HR Leaders from each of the organisations that helped to co-host these group sessions: Linklaters, Syngenta, State Street, Nike, 3M, Fast Retailing, and Gap.
