This global leader in manufacturing and R&D is seeking an HR Director for its site in Central Sweden. This strategic role will provide HR leadership across manufacturing and R&D functions, working closely with the Site Director and the global HR team to ensure alignment of global strategies with local business objectives. The HR Director will be responsible for driving key HR initiatives across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on organisational development, workforce planning, and transformation to support the company’s continued growth. In this role, the HR Director will implement the global HR strategy on the ground, oversee talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive operational excellence. As the company scales, this position will be key in supporting the growth trajectory through strategic HR leadership, ensuring that the business is well-positioned to meet both current and future challenges. The position will work closely with the functional leadership team and other HR leaders to ensure alignment with the broader business strategy and contribute to the company’s ongoing success. Based in Central Sweden, this role will require a primary on-site presence five days a week, with reporting directly to the Site Director and functionally to the Global Head of HR.
The ideal candidate for this position will bring extensive HR leadership experience in manufacturing or R&D environments, ideally within the pharmaceutical, aesthetics, or cosmetics sectors. They should have a proven track record in driving organisational transformation, workforce planning, and change management, particularly in complex, multi-site, or matrix organisations. The role demands a leader with experience overseeing HR teams, including talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee relations, while also focusing on aligning HR strategy with business objectives to support growth. This individual must be a strong relationship builder with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation, particularly with senior leadership.
