Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of environmentally friendly materials for a broad industrial client base. Recently, the company has embarked on a restructuring of their human resources organization moving towards a center of excellence/HRBP model. The CHRO has identified the next step on this journey is to source a seasoned HR Business Partner to support Global Operations. Global Operations comprises more than 20 manufacturing plants across 11 countries spanning 4 business lines. This position can be based in the US, UK or France.
This role reports to the CHRO and supports the COO and global operations as an HR Business Partner. Support for the organization will be required across multiple locations, thus travel will be required. This individual will bring HR expertise and business understanding to their client, and assist in influencing, coaching, and counseling employees and managers throughout all business cycles. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for driving the talent agenda across regions and assisting in the execution of programs such as retention, employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, and internal employee communication. This individual will work with a team of 10+ direct reports and will require strong management skills.
We are looking for a strategic individual for this position that understands and can deliver strategy for the manufacturing operation of a global organization. The ideal profile would be a partner who has strong communication and cultural acumen with experience living and working internationally, as this individual will be supporting operations in 11 different countries spanning 4 business lines. Flexibility for heavy travel is required. This role would suit an individual who thrives in setting the direction and driving change to an evolving human resources organization. Knowledge and prior experience working with unions and the European Works Council is highly desired.
