Their app, developed by a world-class data science and engineering team, is loved by millions of people of all ages. The company is growing very fast and has started expansion into the US market (both products and engineers). They have an amazing office environment with great benefits.
This role directly manages a team of around 10 people. Reporting to CHRO in Japan, the successful candidate will demonstrate experience in developing a corporate talent strategy, ownership and advancement of a robust management/leadership development program, a mastery of succession planning and a highly commercial insight into talent acquisition.
To be successful in this role you will need a clear understanding of the commercial drivers of the business, and of the key role HR plays in the success of the organisation through talent and acquisition. Fluent English with agility to communicate with US side. Confidence, the ability to communicate and manage upward are also highly valued attributes. Local HR knowledge and key aspects of the Japan market conditions will be key for successfully competing with top talents. Requires someone capable of leading and developing a recruting team.
