We are delighted to work with a local conglomerate in the consumer goods industry. The company has a proven track record of growth and success in the past 10 years. The management team felt that they could have done even better with strong HR support and so they created this new position to help set up the shared services function for the Hong Kong market. We are helping them to appoint a Hong Kong and Macau Head of Shared Services. The role is based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of HR for Hong Kong and Macau, you will lead the new shared services team and the COE team. The HR director has re-structured the HR function. Therefore, the new shared services team will be responsible for leading payroll, HR operations and analytics. The COE team mainly covers recruiting, special projects and compensation and benefits. The organisation is amid implementing a new HRIS system. Hence, you should have solid experience in system implementation and payroll change. The role will lead a team of 20.
We are looking for a well-rounded generalist with strong experience in compensation and benefits and people management. You should have a proven track record of leading sizeable operations as well as teams. The HR practice there is primitive, consequently, you should be ready to lead the change journey with other leaders.
