The Company

We are excited about working on another search with a world leading FMCG business that has more than 40,000 employees worldwide. The group is going through a growth period, and its operations in Italy are a keystone in its development. We are looking to appoint the Head of HR for Italy, and the role will preferably be based in Milan or possibly Rome.

The Role

Reporting to the EMEA HR VP, you will be leading a team and looking after a medium sized population spread across multiple locations. The main priorities will include: supporting the business by building capability, further establishing a talent pipeline, and focussing on being part of the European team aligning the business and HR strategy as the organisation moves into a new phase of development. Influencing and supporting change in the business will also be key. You will collaborate with other HR and business leaders throughout the organisation to develop a strong local team that feels connected to the global business.  

The Individual

It is expected that you will already be in the region or at least returning with extensive local experience. Good longevity in your career in HR will be important but a strong business focus also will also be looked on favourably International and previous MNC experience is also preferred. You will likely have a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience, and you should be a degree holder. Manufacturing or FMCG industry experience preferred.
