The Role

Reporting into the HR Director you will have ownership of the design, development and implementation of the entire Reward strategy. This is a highly visible role – you will enjoy close partnership with senior business leaders and play a key role in the RemCo preparations and operations. The role covers the full suite of Rewards including developing the bonus scheme, shaping and setting up the LTI scheme and managing the benchmarking process. The organisation is determined to take a fresh approach to Performance Management and you will help to drive this from a Reward perspective, likewise you will drive a programme of forward looking and innovative benefits taking into account the latest thinking and action in the market. Whilst this is a strategic role and operational elements such as Payroll are outsourced, the start-up environment and lean HR team means a hands-on and collaborative working style is essential.  

The Individual

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10/15 years Rewards experience in blue chip, fast paced organisations. Insurance sector expertise is welcomed but not essential. You will have experience in a start-up organisation, a green field Reward role or have led the creation of a Reward strategy in an organisation going through significant change and transformation. An innovative approach to Rewards, a strong understanding of the latest thinking and cutting-edge market practices and a real ‘think outside of the box’ approach to compensation and benefits is required. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills are a must and you should have prior RemCo experience. Given that technology and data underpins the organisation and drives decision making, you will have strong analytical skills, be data driven and tech savvy.
