We are excited to partner with this fast-paced business, a multinational technology scale-up located in Southern Europe. They have experienced exponential growth and are poised to continue with same over the coming years. With offices in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, we are looking for an experienced Director of Talent, Performance and Development. This person will drive the evolution of the performance driven culture and organisational and talent development practices. This is a critical role as they prepare for an initial public offering in the upcoming future. The business has an exceptional story and are on an exciting journey, hence the need for a winning performance culture in this competitive and fast moving industry.
The Director of Talent, Performance and Development will lead the development and execution of global talent management, performance, learning and culture initiatives that will lift overall business performance. Reporting directly to the CHRO and partnering closely across the executive leadership team, this individual will design the framework to accelerate performance, talent and leadership across the organisation and enhance organisational capabilities. This role will have global oversight and accountability for talent management, performance management, organisational effectiveness as well as learning and development. This role will play a critical and highly impactful role in positioning the company to win.
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in senior talent management roles, including individual and organisational development and learning practices. Performance Management at the core level, including top notch, state of the art techniques and disruptive programs are a strong requirement. The individual will have a proven track record of delivering results through innovation and creativity in all areas of scope. Global experience leading high-performing technical teams. Candidates with the traditional “CoE Design” mindset are not a good fit for the role – it is key to be interested in, and focused on improving the business results through performance and talent management. Experience in an Agile HR model would be an added advantage as would experience working with companies that have experienced rapid growth. Degree qualified preferred. Prior experience in the technology industry with a focus on software preferred but equally you might be sitting in a large company and not feeling that your creative and pioneering ideas are being leveraged. You could be based anywhere in the world but will need to have previously lived in another region or country and held regional and preferably global roles in the past, driving and leading companywide interventions. The role is based in Barcelona so you will need to be open to relocation or be based there now.
