We are working with a leading US headquartered pharmaceutical organisation searching for an HR Director to be based in the North West of England. The organisation is embarking on an agenda of change and transformation after an initial period of growth, largely through M&A. Going from strength to strength, this businesses footprint outside of the US is becoming more and more prominent, and as a result the are continuously looking to drive improvements and efficiencies.
As the HR Director, you will be responsible for one of the organisations key business areas. You will be required to lead a small team, and some of your key areas will be talent pipelining, capability building, structuring the HR function to suit the business needs, and acting as a strong business partner to this critical business areas leaders. With the wider HR function, there will be a focus on bringing processes, policies and systems together. Harmonisation will be at the top of the agenda.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Human Resources professional, ideally from blue chip, multi-national corporations. You will be a broad generalist but having time in specialist roles is also welcomed. You will have experience working in a changing and transforming environment and will be able to navigate complexities and adapt to a fluid working environment. You will be able to operate and engage at a senior, strategic level but you will also need to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and deliver at a more tactical level as well. Above all you will be a highly credible, enthusiastic and passionate individual with excellent communication skills, with a strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ approach.
