The Company

ChapmanCG is partnering with a rapidly growing life sciences  company as it continues to build out the product portfolio and its people capability. Our client is recognized in its field for innovation and developing leading-edge products. Due to recent promotion of high performing team members, this organization is looking for a new Senior Director, HRBP to lead this critical global business unit that is key to  achieving future strategic goals.

The Role

Although currently an individual contributor, do not be fooled – this role is in fact a highly strategic position bringing heavy influence and visibility with top stakeholders at the heart of the business. As a key member of the leadership group, and reporting into the VP HR of the division, the Senior Director, HRBP will focus on driving not only global business outcomes but also bringing a deep understanding and focus on talent – the ability to assess, attract and develop capability within the business. As a trusted value partner to the leadership team, this role will have full autonomy and needs someone who considers themselves a business leader first, with a strategic human capital lens to be able to drive growth plans in line with commercial success of the organization.

The Individual

The successful candidate will bring significant global HR business partnering experience in large-scale, major organizations recognized for “best-in-class” HR. A bold leader who is willing and able to take accountability and build strong internal relationships to influence business leaders to act on decisions. A background in the pharma or life-sciences industry is ideal but not essential. This could be the opportunity to transition into a new industry for someone with a results-oriented mindset, and the proven agility to create impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. A strong business acumen, innovative attitude and a passion for all things talent is essential. This is an on-site role, so remote working is not possible. However an attractive relocation package is on offer. A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
