Our client is a global fintech organisation going through significant change and transformation. They have a fast-paced and dynamic culture, and HR is fully aligned to the business. This new role has been created to help build and shape a highly effective talent strategy.
Based in London, this role will need to optimise the current talent management function, making changes where required. Ultimately, the role will need to strip back and rebuild the talent strategy to shape the talent culture going forward. The role straddles talent management and leadership development focused at the senior leadership level. Growth is anticipated so the function will be held accountable for retaining and developing the best industry talent within the organisation.
We are looking for a strategic talent management leader with experience of working with global MNCs either internally or as a consultant. Equally they must demonstrate a hands-on style and approach when it comes to projects and problem solving. There is considerable ambiguity and the role will need to navigate and prioritise certain areas. The ideal applicant will have some technology exposure, as well as demonstrated tenure and the ability to build best practice in complex environments. Working under pressure is essential. International experience will also be beneficial. A deep track record in talent management is fundamental.
