Their technologies and competitive advantage is moving from thermal power into renewable power. Their renewable fleet includes wind, photovoltaic solar, concentrated solar and hydropower. This business gives back to the communities through social investments and community engagement programs. We are delighted to be helping them look for an innovative and business focussed Rewards head. The role will be ideally based in London, in the United Kingdom.
Reporting to the CHRO and working closely with the CEO, this person will drive the global remuneration committee agenda and will direct and design the implementation of international compensation, executive compensation, mobility, and benefits initiatives including base pay, incentive pay, equity plans and benefits programs. The person will need to set the strategic direction of the rewards function working with HR teams across all geographies, empowering them to manage their own compensation and benefits programs. The person will also manage relationships with senior executives and stakeholders from external organisations and partners. It is expected this person will provide unique expertise and thought leadership to the facilitate resolution of complex business issues around total rewards. This person will also establish operating budgets to establish the programs to support the ongoing development of employee engagement and employee development.
You will ideally have been a Rewards leader in the past or possibly a number two with good exposure to being in a lead role with supervisory experience, and essentially a deep knowledge or expertise around executive compensation. You will likely be in the UK or returning to the UK. This role requires an internationally experienced person, ideally having have worked for a FTSE listed company in heavy industry, FMCG, Manufacturing or technically oriented environments with exposure to state of the art and innovative practises. Your career will have seen you move through the ranks ideally having had roles in a variety of rewards areas of expertise. Most importantly you will need to be a someone that can influence and manage stakeholders across a complex and ever changing growth businesses. You will need to be a very strong leader, with an adaptive communication style with the conviction and determination to succeed in the company culture which is fast paced, ever changing and in some cases ambiguous. Specific experience in managing the Remuneration Committee, with in depth experience across Europe and the Americas is critical.
