Our client is a dynamic and innovative global technology organization with a history of valuing innovative and disruptive HR practices. We are looking to help shape its future organizational structure to drive growth, enhance managerial entrepreneurship and create a high-performing team. There exists a need to upgrade a critical HR position within the US HR leadership team. The role carries nationwide responsibility in a key and high-growth business unit which is approximately US$500 million in current revenues. This role will be based in the Bay Area.
Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources US, and dotted line to the President of the business unit, the individual will execute the HR strategy in line with the strategic and operational demands of the business. Ultimate responsibility will be to balance business needs with people and organizational demands and drive talent development and engagement. This will include coaching business and functional leaders. This person will be a key interface between the HR leader for the business unit, Talent and Learning CoEs and the local HR Operations teams in order to drive talent, leadership development and workforce planning strategies, harmonization of compensation and benefits plans and enhance employee and labor relations initiatives.
The successful applicant will be an experienced HR Generalist or HR Business Partner who can demonstrate a blend of strategic and tactical business partnering within a fast paced, ever changing and heavily matrix environment. Demonstrable success in talent and leadership development is preferred; Exposure to a high growth technology company is a must. A proven track record of coaching, talent management, employee engagement and a good working knowledge of HR systems is also desirable. Above all, the indivdual needs to be execution oriented, self-motivated and be able to make difficult decisions and tackle complex problems as they arise.
