The Company

This is a world famous food and sweets company in the retail sector with a long history in Japan and a huge fan base globally. This brand is well-known for their variety of flavours that are constantly changing to attract an increased number of customers. They are based in Tokyo with a global head office in the US.

The Role

The Head of HR will lead a mid-sized team and be an integral part of the transformation of the Japan entity. They will ensure daily operations continue to be carried out smoothly whilst working hands on as a Business Partner focusing on talent management. The role will report to the Head of Japan.  

The Individual

The successful candidate will have experience from a similar industry, ideally in a comparable role or someone who is ready to take the next step in their career as Head of HR. It is important to have business to fluent levels of English and Japanese with a strong can-do attitude and to be prepared to face challenges of this role.
