A key need has arisen for a dynamic HR Operations Director for the US region. This company is a well-established market leader with close to 10,000 employees and operating units in more than 30 countries worldwide. The company’s HR leadership team is outstanding, and its HR model is evolving to ensure a robust platform for future global growth.

The Role

The HR Operations Director will be based in the Silicon Valley area and report directly to the Global Head of HR, who is based overseas. He or she will be charged with establishing guidelines, standards and processes across the HR function, and ensuring effective and efficient local HR operations. Main focus areas around payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, vendor management and selection and building a reporting analytics capability. He/she will design and deliver cross-divisional processes, programs, and drive the transformation of this function, seeking to scale globally. This will include defining specific HR service standards and ensuring efficient administration of HR service delivery. Globally this role will manage the annual planning for the function. It will work with business process owners to establish KPI’s for the organization to measure performance and establish processes to ensure a consistent operation of the function.  

The Individual

We are seeking an established HR Operations leader with substantial experience in designing and scaling a global services platform. Exposure to managing payroll and benefits processes in multinational organizations is preferred. He/she will have experience driving HR operations transformations and will view HR operations from a strategic and efficiency perspective. He/she will also be a sound people manager with the ability to create structure, handle volatile situations and provide steering and guidance to the team. The ideal individual will have a strong background in payroll and benefits with an ability to establish processes and align a global function.
