Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is a recognised name in the financial services industry with a strong global presence.
This position will oversee all HR operations for Japan and act as an HR Business Partner to the senior leadership team.
The ideal individual will have extensive experience in a broad range of HR disciplines & COEs, coupled with strategic HR business partnering skills in leading global MNCs. The ability to operate in a complex and highly matrixed structure, whilst managing the local needs of the business and navigating the nuances of the local labour market is key to this role. Experience overseeing a large HR team with direct and dotted reporting lines is advantageous. Fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English is essential. Additionally, a strong knowledge of Japanese employment law is necessary in order to interact with the local regulatory authorities.
