Our client is a Japanese e-commerce company, currently operating in Japan and parts of North America. They are one of Japan’s largest customer focused marketplaces with over 100 billion (JPY) in transactions carried out on a year to year basis. They are currently in a growth mode and are one of the most popular apps in the market today, having widespread success and positioned to expand at a fast pace both locally and overseas.
An exciting role that will lead the Global Total Rewards team to design & implement components of a Total Rewards system for the Japan entity. This role will lead the evaluation, compensation and labor of the entire Group and be responsible for the design of evaluation and compensation systems (including stock incentives).
The ideal individual will have led compensation practices in a high-growth organization and understand how to create and deliver market leading systems and processes into the organization. The individual should have 10+ years of compensation experience and have the capability to lead people and influence key stakeholders. Business level English ability is required to communicate with the team and a diverse local office.
