The Role

A newly created role, the Head of Learning, Americas will be responsible for identifying learning, career, and organization development needs at a regional level. This role will create a regional learning, capability, and career development strategy for North and South America in partnership with the President of the Americas, the VP of South America, their respective leadership teams, and the Executive HR Director to enable the delivery of the Americas’ strategic growth agenda. The Head of Learning, Americas will also be working in partnership with the relevant Global Technical Academy Leads to develop Global Technical Academy strategy for the Finance, EHS, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Marketing Global Academies.  

The Individual

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in leading a wide range of strategic and change-based HR programs including creating and/or applying talent philosophies and principles to talent management, organization design and learning initiatives. An advanced degree in OD, Learning or Psychology/Behavioral Sciences from an internationally recognized business school is desirable, as is significant experience interacting with senior stakeholders on learning consulting, facilitation, talent management, change management and transformation.
