Our client is a clear leader in the market after recent integration and consolidation of extensive acquisitions. Their business is complex with a fully integrated logistics, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain operation which is supported by a very strong passion for technology. With over 35,000 employees globally they continue to go through rapid change from a HR, operations and business perspective, and have ambitious yet realistic business objectives and a diverse workforce and leadership team that this role will have direct impact on.
Based in Amsterdam, this person will report into the Head of the business unit globally covering all of Europe. This is a matrix organisation and so there will be a multitude of stakeholders sitting across the various countries and regions. There is a strategic focus but there will be times when a more hands on and operational approach will be required, as well as the requirement for relationship building and commercial acumen. This is an exciting time for HR globally with this particular business unit driving a significant focus on people & the business and taking it to the next stages of development.
The individual will need to have evidence of adding considerable value from a commercial perspective, and naturally be a strong HR strategist. They will need to have had experience in working in an ambiguous and fast paced environment with strong leaders and a committed and diverse workforce going through change. A proven track record as a business partner along with solid tenure in the FMCG, manufacturing, or technology industries is of importance, along with plentiful global experience.
