Our client is a global FMCG business going through significant transformation. They are a household name and have a global population of over 80,000. As their industry dynamics shift, they are changing their strategy and investing in new product areas. It’s an exciting time as they are spearheading the disruption in the sector, but the challenge ahead is unprecedented. They require dynamic and committed individuals to help them reach their ambitious goals.
This role is a unique proposition, you will be part of a ‘squad’ of OD/transformation leads who will be assigned to certain business units or functions to help drive change in that area. You will be working with the senior business leaders to guide them through the change management process. This will involve implementing and coaching on new methodologies and processes. Areas such as design thinking and lean six sigma will be critical as the organisation aims to become more agile and progressive. This is a ‘player coach’ role so you will need to be as hands on as strategic. There will be an indirect team and an array of resources to tap into but no direct team.
The person required will likely have depth in management consulting either in change management or OD. You will be passionate about applying these consulting skills in a corporate environment and you must be able to navigate complexity. In order to be effective, you will need to get the buy in of the senior management and therefore must possess strong influencing skills and executive presence. Ideally your experience will have a skew towards FMCG, Tech and Telcos, but this is not essential.
