The Role

This role is that of the Head of HR for the country, a pivotal position within the organisation and reports directly to the global headquarters. As the leader of the HR function in the country, this individual is responsible for overseeing all end-to-end HR responsibilities, ensuring that the human resources strategy aligns with the overall business objectives. The Head of HR manages a team of 10 who are responsible for executing various HR tasks and initiatives. This team works collaboratively to handle recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and other critical HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department in the country. In addition to their local team, the Head of HR has access to COE resources from the global headquarters. These resources include talent management expertise, compensation and benefits knowledge, and learning and development resources. This support from the global COE enables the Head of HR to implement best practices and leverage global expertise to enhance the HR function in the country.

The Individual

Our client is seeking a strategic HR leader who possesses a high level of maturity and the ability to engage effectively with senior key stakeholders across the organisation. This individual must be capable of understanding the company's overall business strategies and translating them into impactful HR initiatives that align with and support those strategies. The ideal candidate is proactive, always seeking out new ways to improve the HR function and drive the success of the organisation. They must have a deep understanding of HR practices and trends, as well as the ability to anticipate and respond to changes in the business environment. This HR leader will be expected to play a key role in shaping the organisation's talent management, employee engagement, and performance management strategies. They must be able to collaborate with senior leaders to identify key business needs and develop HR solutions that address those needs, while also ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
