The Company

We are partnering with a top global Media & Entertainment brand with presence in more than 70 countries globally on their search for a HR Director, SEA and Korea.

The Role

Based in Singapore and reporting directly to the SVP HR and dotted line to Regional GM, the HR Director will be responsible for Korea, Singapore, The Philippines, Malaysia, Indochina, Indonesia and Thailand. With highly effective communication and stakeholder management skills, a strong organisational development track record and a business mindset, the HR Director will act as a trusted business partner to the GM and CFO for SEA (K), MDs within region, the SVP of Legal and Business affairs for SEA and Greater China. This critical leadership role is essentially the strategic advisor relating to talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development, organizational development, leadership development, employee relations, compliance, HRIS & administration etc.  

The Individual

An ideal profile for this crucial role would be 8+ years of management experience in HR in a multinational corporate environment with exposure to stringent compliance and governance codes, with matrixed and functional reporting relationships. Interest and knowledge in media, music, digital, mobile, social networks, innovation and disruption will be important. Experience of the SEA (KR) region, its labour laws and regulations, as well as understanding of the Korean market and businesses is a must and fluency in Korean would be a plus.
