This market leading multinational manufacturing organization is well-known for its innovation and quality. It boasts products in 60 countries around the world and serves clients across a wide variety of industries. The company has undergone some major change and transformation initiatives over the past couple of years. As a result, ChapmanCG is working on a newly created Total Rewards leadership search for the North American business which is approximately 5,000 employees.
This position will lead a small team to create an efficient and modern total rewards function in North America. Reporting to the US-based Vice-President of Human Resources, this role will be responsible for helping to regionalize and implement the global compensation strategy to support a North America employee population located in the US and Canada. This position will be based in the company’s New Jersey office 2-3 days per week. While this is a North America role, it will serve on the Global Total Rewards leadership team and will need to work closely with a European headquarters and peers around the world.
Bringing approximately 12-15 years of experience, this individual will have broad experience in all key areas of Total Rewards including compensation, benefits, vendor management, and global mobility. With proven experience as a subject matter expert on industry best practices for all aspects of Total Rewards in North America, the chosen candidate will also be able to demonstrate proven and effective direct and indirect leadership skills. Previous global or international exposure within a multinational matrix environment is a “must have”. In addition, it would be advantageous if the individual has previous experience working in a European headquartered environment. The successful candidate will possess exceptional stakeholder management skills on an international level. He or she should also be a consultative thought partner based on their expertise and thrive in complex, matrixed environments.
