The Company
This groundbreaking multinational hospitality/entertainment organization is well-known for its innovation and customer service. The company is currently undertaking a business transformation designed to allow for a more impactful experience for consumers and partners. The organization enjoys a geographically dispersed workforce with approximately 5,000 employees spread across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
The Role
This role will hold a vital position (on a team of highly efficient total rewards professionals) as the compensation SME focused on supporting the creation of a cutting-edge total rewards program that will accompany an on-going organizational transformation. Reporting to the SVP, Global Total Rewards, the Director of Compensation will play a key role, and serve as a major stakeholder, in two ongoing rewards initiatives: the redefinition of global salary structures, and redevelopment of the global talent framework. This position will collaborate closely with a geographically dispersed collection of senior leaders and be responsible for the development and delivery of compensation programs within a high-touch, service-focused environment. To foster greater engagement and innovation, the position will be on-site four days a week (Monday through Thursday) in the NYC corporate headquarters.
The Individual
The ideal individual will have a background in public, multinational, matrix environments where they have demonstrated an ability to successfully build collaborative relationships in a culture that values consensus building. They will possess a servant leader mindset and will be comfortable participating in high-level strategic conversations, as well as delving into the detail of tactical actions impacting daily compensation topics. An accomplished project manager, this individual will have a demonstrated history of delivering impactful initiatives including the redevelopment of global compensation structures, and the modernization of talent frameworks, including career ladders, job architectures, etc. S/he will also be able to leverage data-driven insights (gleaned from Workday) to craft compensation initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention across the organization.
