This growing Life Sciences company is innovative and a leader in its field. Known for its sharp management team, product excellence and focus on continuous improvement, the organization will soon be launching a search for a VP, Global Head of Talent through ChapmanCG.

The Role

This position will be responsible for raising the bar on the company’s Talent practices and processes globally. It will be a broad-based role including Talent Management, Organization Development, Learning and adjacent areas such as succession, performance, talent analytics, etc. There will also be a heavy element of change, culture building and acquisition integration. This position will be based in the company’s headquarters location with an expectation that the individual is in the office circa 4 days/week.

The Individual

We are looking for a business focused, and results driven leader with experience working in complex matrixed global organizations. Diverse industry experience is preferred providing this experience includes substantial time spent in Life Sciences (Pharmaceuticals, Biotech or Medical Devices) in global roles. Global or international experience is a ‘must have’ with the preference being for an individual who has lived and worked internationally. Culture fit will be key as we will be looking for a sharp, hands-on, pragmatic and strategic talent and leadership expert who can execute impeccably. A more theoretical or hands-off approach would not be a fit. While not mandatory, prior experience in another aspect of HR, particularly HR Business Partnering would be of interest.
