We are delighted to be helping this business as they look for an innovative and business focussed Global HR leader who can help take their organisation to the next level. The business has been traditional in the past and is now focussed on being creative whilst ensuring they retain their very strong standing of quality. The role will be ideally based in London, in the United Kingdom.

The Role

With a new CEO who joined earlier in 2021 and reasonably new CHRO (just 18 months with the business) this position will drive the transformation on a new approach from being somewhat traditional and conservative to being really creative and business focussed. The remit includes the full HR Service delivery model including an HR Shared services, HR Analytics, Systems and Governance and ER with an exciting workday implementation imminent. Driving performance aligned to the business is also an intriguing element to this role. The role will need to set the strategic direction of the delivery function ensuring Human Resources teams across all geographies can remain focussed on their more local business needs. It is expected this position will provide unique expertise and thought leadership to facilitate resolution of complex business needs, bearing in mind this is a diverse and somewhat decentralised organisation.  

The Individual

You will ideally have been a HR operations leader in the past or possibly a number two with good exposure to being in a lead role with supervisory experience, and essentially a deep knowledge or expertise around driving change and innovation. You will likely be in the UK or returning to the UK. This role requires an internationally experienced person, ideally having have worked in a range of industries ideally including professional services, R&D and other technical oriented environments. Your career will have seen you move through the ranks ideally having had roles in a variety of HR roles with depth in HR operations. Most importantly you will need to be a someone that can influence and manage stakeholders across a complex and ever-changing growth businesses. You will need to be a very strong leader, with an adaptive communication style with the conviction and determination to succeed in the organisation which is changing and, in some cases ambiguous.
