The Company

Our client is a global player in the consumer space and one of the top companies in their specific sector. They have over 20,000 employees operating in more than 30 countries worldwide.

The Role

Based in Shanghai, this Head of HR role will lead the entire HR function for China. They already have a strong presence and are still growing tremendously with aggressive plans. Hence, they are looking for a strong HR leader to help them reach the next level. You will be working closely with business leaders to spearhead the growth and ramp up the organization and HR function. They are looking for someone confident in change management, able to deal with ambiguity and fast growth, and passionate about what they do. The organization is full of energy and would suit someone with entrepreneurial spirit. You will have a team of over 20 members, so will be a strong people leader who can continue to help develop the team.  

The Individual

You should have a proven track record and extensive HR experience, preferably from the consumer, retail or fast-growing industries. Experience in transformations and change management will be important, as well as strong business acumen. You need to be bi-lingual in Mandarin and English.
