ChapmanCG is assisting a pacey, action-oriented, global industry disruptor in the AI/ML industry in its search for its first strategic Global Head of Talent Acquisition. This Global Head of Talent Acquisition will partner with the CEO, and other key global leaders, to achieve a reputation as a talent factory renowned for its ability to attract, grow, and develop exceptional talent. This role will develop an innovative talent road map, and accompanying processes, that will enable them to hire impactful leaders from the top 10% of the companies in the hardware, software, and cloud industries. The individual in this role will be an operationally minded talent acquisition leader who can inspire a small talent acquisition team in their search for key industry unicorns. The Global Head of Talent Acquisition will bring a creative approach to building their employer brand and serve as a talent ambassador who drives business and blazes a new path for talent identification. This leadership role will report to the CHRO of the organization.
The individual capable of leading this talent acquisition function will be someone with a top-brand pedigree and extensive relationships across those organizations. He or she will be someone capable of effectively leveraging best practice TA experiences to craft a function that will successfully “punch above its weight” and land talent others think is outside the realm of possibility. He/she will have a demonstrated history of developing a strategic roadmap for the function that effectively utilizes metrics, reinvents attraction, creatively incorporates key influencers across the business, and successfully taps into talent buckets yet to be seen. This leader will demonstrate creativity, drive, passion, and operational excellence as hallmarks of their personality. They will have experience as a Director, Senior Director, or Vice President of a talent acquisition function and will be obsessed with uncovering unique ways to assess and acquire talent. They should also be known for their ability to execute with excellence. The perfect individual for this role will view this opportunity as their dream job due to the blank canvas they will be given.
