Reporting to the Group HR Head of HRBP, the Head of HRBP - China will be responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR functions and activities of PRC business in GBA. It will be responsible for providing proactive HR consulting and advice to the business in identifying, rewarding, retaining and developing its best people as the core foundation delivering for the business. The incumbent will be the primary HR partner to the business leaders of the PRC business entities and the relevant divisional leaders in Hong Kong. The position will also work closely with the group HR Leadership Team, to develop the required PRC HR strategies and lead the local implementation plan, to drive HR operational excellence, and implement HR best practices. The role will be based in Guangzhou and will travel to the PRC business locations and Hong Kong as required.
We are looking for an individual with solid working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, benefits, talent development strategies, organisational planning/design, employee relations, performance management, and employment law in both markets. You should possess a strategic mindset with a strong ability to implement and execute people strategies that drive business outcomes. Experience in shaping new organisation and workforce for new commercial/start up project(s) in China from ground up is a must for the role. Additionally, you should have strong leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing others, while being resilient and adaptable, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
