The Chief People Officer is eager to take the talent acquisition function to the next level and so we are looking for a dynamic leader who can marry operational excellence with a strategic vision. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, one of the key deliverables of the Head of Talent Acquisition is to establish a strong employer brand. This in turn will drive greater connectivity with consumers and the communities in which the business operates, elevating the company as an employer of choice. S/he will play a key role to enhance how the organization seeks to attract, develop, and retain top talent and future leaders throughout the US business groups and corporate global headquarters. Employee populations will span commercial, corporate and operations teams. This mandate will include serving as a thought leader on how to develop and execute innovative strategies to attract hourly workers and non-traditional talent across the business. Working closely with key business stakeholders and executive leaders, the individual will help in the design and execution of workforce, talent and hiring plans and facilitate communication around capability gaps. S/he will then optimize operational solutions to talent acquisition processes, using technology where effective, to manage all aspects of executive and high-volume recruitment as well as diverse talent sourcing strategies. Leading a large team, the individual will mentor and inspire recruiting professionals to achieve aggressive hiring goals. We are looking for a high-energy, entrepreneurial and collaborative leader who will take an innovative approach to leading the end-to-end talent acquisition function. S/he will have a minimum of 15 years of progressive talent acquisition experience and at least eight years of demonstrated success leading and developing a team. This should have been gained in a fast-paced, high-growth, change-friendly, and dynamic environment. Specific domain knowledge in employer branding, hiring strategies for hourly workers and sourcing for diverse talent is critical to success. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary in this role as is the ability to work across all levels of an organization. S/he will be a highly team-oriented leader who has demonstrated success in effective stakeholder management and building highly functional and dynamic teams. Bachelor’s degree required.
