We are partnering with a new client which has been reshaping its people strategy to support continued business growth. A growing enterprise in the consumer goods and services space, the company has a footprint in all major global markets and is setting itself an ambitious target to double its revenue by 2025. With a relatively new CHRO and business leadership team, there is a renewed energy to drive innovation and use people analytics and data as the catalyst for such. The culture is one of performance and exceeding customer expectations. Throughout a challenging 2020, they have managed to increase their customer base in key segments and now strive for a bigger push internationally.
Reporting to the CHRO, this is a newly created position resulting from a global HR transformation aimed at providing more effective and data-enabled talent decisions to the business. It will require the VP Talent Planning and Analysis to collapse two lean teams (Talent Management and People Analytics) into one and set the go-forward strategy for enterprise-wide workforce planning initiatives. This will in turn lead to the assessment and development of talent capabilities via upgrading or upskilling, talent mobility, innovative learning and development programs, tighter succession planning and the engagement of HIPO talent. With an ongoing focus on digital and data transformation, the individual will be given the autonomy to build-out a new data analytics team designed to bring forward people insights which will enable the business to drive improved productivity and performance. This role would suit a Director/Sr Director looking to step up.
The individual will need to bring a mix of technical and people skills to the role. With a desire to grow its international footprint, there is a strong preference for this individual to have gained international experience in both mature and emerging markets. LATAM and/or APAC experience would be beneficial. Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of regional drivers is key. A forward-thinking, digital savvy executive with an entrepreneurial mindset and proven to track record in designing and delivering measurable talent solutions in a highly matrixed environment is essential. Industry experience in a customer-oriented sector is a must. S/he will also possess first-rate people leadership and influencing skills often working through others to achieve the talent goals of the organization.
