An exciting growth story, this is a global business competing with some of the world’s most well-known technology brands. The Headquarters are in India, with presence in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and more, along with sites globally including San Francisco in the US and more recently the UK and Europe. They have an increasing global presence, and are known for their innovation, capability and ongoing product excellence around the services they provide. After being established in 2010, the business has continued to evolve over the years continuing to offer a large range of services and products with a focus on leading edge technology and customer engagement. This is a business that has recently secured significant funding.
The position will be based in Chennai, India and have a global responsibility leading the market strategy in line with the global business VP, also based in this location. This role will act as a right-hand person to many key stakeholders globally, including the CHRO, and will be key in creating a sustainable and high growth go to market business. As a key leader in the global business there will be close partnering with the entire HR group leadership team. It is a broad role requiring smart leadership and the ability to align the business requirements in creating a vision to advance the people agenda to the next stage. There will also be a strong need to initiate and manage change while overcoming the numerous challenges of the high growth environment.
You will be a business leader with strong business acumen who takes full responsibility from the perspective that HR is integral in business success. Ideally, you will have a deep international HR profile, with a proven track record in high growth environments, not necessarily start-ups. You will have product development and technology industry exposure – bringing both expertise and thought leadership to the table. Experience in managing international markets, including exposure to at least one other region outside of Asia is very much preferred. You will need to act with gravitas, be happy to travel globally when required and operate in a hugely competitive and fast changing environment.
