Our client is a global consumer goods organisation with a portfolio of world renowned brands. It is truly international and far reaching across both established and emerging markets. They continue to diversify and innovate into new areas whilst optimising their existing portfolio.
It’s an exciting time to join the TA function which is transforming and advancing into a new era. It is still a ‘work in progress’ and this person will need to continue to build on some of the foundations that have been established over the last 12 months. Running a newly formed team of 80, this person will have oversight over all areas of TA from exec down to grad as well as the technology, recruitment infrastructure and employer branding strategy. There is investment and scope to be creative and innovate particularly in the employer branding area.
We are looking for a relationship builder who can work well in a complex matrix dealing with tough HR stakeholders. The mandate is there to be successful but influencing will be required along with a thick skin and tenacious approach. Ideally you will have a track record in Talent Acquisition having led a sizeable global function for a number of years. There needs to be headroom between the existing regional heads of TA and this individual. The role is largely strategic but it’s a hands-on culture and you will need to work closely with the team to ensure smooth execution. Consumer goods, pharma or technology will be an advantage but is not essential. Experience of building and augmenting a function is more critical.
