A multinational leader in consumer goods, our client is embarking on a transformation across the pivotal markets of Europe. Very much an icon in its product area, the business aims to harmonise culturally and optimise digitally. Significant strategic change is afoot which will require a robust, seasoned and very commercial HR Director who can build solid relationships with crucial stakeholders across continents.
An opportunity has opened for a Head of HR – Europe to support a significant and diverse employee population across Europe. Very much a turnaround style position, the role will require a blend of strong strategic and operational skills. An ability to work closely with the business leaders across the globe is important, as well as an ability to create followship with the existing HR team. You will be a highly visible member of the leadership team.
At least 15 years’ high-level pan-European business partnering or European HRD expertise is required, as well as an understanding of the changing nuances of B2B industries. An ability to build credibility with demanding stakeholders makes this a role for the commercially astute and business savvy. The individual needs to balance an understanding of the commercials of a business as well as the human element of keeping peers and colleagues highly motivated.
