As the Head of Talent Acquisition for North America, this role will spearhead an initiative to enhance and revamp the talent acquisition function, aligning it with business objectives and enhancing its ability to attract top-tier talent in a competitive landscape. The role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for North America in a highly matrixed global organization. This role has been described as having the ability to reshape and develop the talent acquisition team, balancing the needs of internal and external resources while building strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate for this position should have experience of successfully operating within a matrixed, globally structured organization. He or she will have managed and developed large talent acquisitions teams, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders. This individual should ideally strike a harmonious balance between being a strategic recruitment leader and possessing a solid execution-oriented, hands-on skillset. Additional essential qualifications for the role include strong business acumen for effectively meeting the organization’s talent needs, prior experience in spearheading transformation projects, and experience with managing RPO partners.
