We are excited to partner with our client, a multinational technology start-up located in the San Francisco Bay area. For the past 10 years, our client has experienced steady year-over-year growth and is poised to double in size. With offices in the U.S. and India, our client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Talent Management to help contribute to the vision and development of the global talent strategy and OD roadmap that will link to the over-arching business and people strategy. Our client is preparing for an initial public offering and hiring a Vice President of Global Talent Management is a strategic hire to help to best position internal talent and leadership for the next exciting phase in the company’s already exceptional journey.
The Role
The Vice President of Global Talent Management will lead the development and execution of global talent strategies, aligning talent, OD, learning and culture with the people plan and the objectives of business. Reporting directly to the CHRO and partnering closely across the executive leadership team, this individual will design the framework to accelerate talent and leadership across the organization and enhance organizational capabilities. The VP of TM will have global oversight and accountability for talent management, performance management, organizational effectiveness programs as well as learning and development. This is a newly created position within the HR leadership team and will play a critical and highly impactful role in positioning the company for continued growth and success.
The Individual
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in senior talent management roles, including OD and learning and have a proven track record of delivering results through innovation and creativity. She/he will have an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to design and implement innovative talent management programs that drive quality and engagement across the organization. Global experience leading high-performing, geographically dispersed teams. Consultative approach to interface and influence stakeholders within a large, matrixed environment. Experience in an Agile HR model would be an added advantage as would experience working with companies that have experienced rapid growth. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management or related field. Prior experience in the information technology industry with a focus in software development would be ideal.
