The Company
ChapmanCG is partnering with an internationally headquartered industrial manufacturing organization that has operations geographically dispersed across two regions. The company has been enjoying a period of hyper growth, through organic and inorganic means, with some of the largest gains occurring in the Americas region. The organization is in a business transformation positioning them for future revenue and headcount growth. There are multiple business entities within the larger enterprise, and the senior leadership is dedicated to providing a scalable pathway for each to maximize future profitability.
The Role
The HR Leader, Americas will be responsible for redevelopment of talent strategies and succession opportunities for leaders at all levels of the organization. This position will serve as a consultative, proactive business partner to senior leaders at the business and enterprise level. It will provide the information and insights necessary to influence data-driven decision making to increase the leadership capacity of their executive partners. This position will be reporting into the CHRO (who is located outside of the Americas) and will have matrix reporting to the CEO of the region. The HR Leader, Americas must possess an executive presence, and communication style, capable of influencing cross-functional and global COE partners.
The Individual
The HR Leader, Americas will possess a creative approach to problem solving combined with a people-centric approach. Given the growth and prominence of the Americas region, they will need to be able to operate in a fluid, agile environment, where they are not afraid to fail fast and fail forward. This leader will operate well in transformational environments that require the strategic capacity to design programs and the willingness to assist in hands-on execution of initiatives. The right person for this role will have held team leadership roles that required the elevation of junior team members into HR business partners capable of influencing business outcomes. They will approach stakeholder relationships as a consultant linking the overall strategy of the organization, and HR in the Americas, to support the future growth of the company.
