Our client is a global organization operating in more than 50 countries globally and has been in business for over 65 years. Listed in the NYSE, our client serves many of the Fortune 1000 clients and continues to grow their footprint both in the US and around the world. Working through an enterprise-wide transformation and looking to accelerate the execution of global business strategy, our client is looking to hire a Vice President of Global Total Rewards to assist in simplifying the global structure, design programs for future growth and enhance the internal customer experience.
The VP of Global Rewards will lead a team of 20 globally dispersed reward professionals. This is a strategic role where s/he will have full accountability to design both domestic compensation, and benefit plans that align with the goals of the business. Working as a member of the HR Leadership team, the VP of Global Rewards will also have full reporting responsibility to the Compensation Committee/Board of Directors. This position will be accountable for the transformation and ongoing globalization of the company’s global rewards processes and strategies and will work closely with the global executive leadership team to ensure stakeholders are aligned and supported. This is a highly visible role within the organization and will require someone who has a track record of designing plans that are market competitive and establish a pay-for-performance culture.
Qualified candidate will have over 15 years of progressive total rewards experience. They will have held the head job at least one time and have had full responsibility to the board of directors/compensation committee. S/he will have a high degree of comfort creating a roadmap for significant change and transformation and a track record of success in a high-change environment. This person will have experience leading large, globally dispersed and high-performing teams and will enjoy the role of player/coach. Strong analytical, business and financial skills are key, as is a heavy client orientation.
